Key Responsibilities
- Teach core subjects to grammar school students (grades K-6) using classical methods such as narration, memorization, and Socratic reasoning.
- Foster a love of learning by implementing Charlotte Mason-inspired practices such as nature study, living books, and habits of attention.
- Integrate a biblical worldview into every subject, nurturing students’ spiritual growth alongside academic development.
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families, encouraging covenantal faithfulness within the school community.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators to create a cohesive and inspiring educational experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- A deep commitment to the classical Christian philosophy of education.
- Teaching experience in a classical, Christian, or private school setting (preferred but not required).
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A desire to model and inspire Christ-like character in and out of the classroom.
