Music Teacher (PreK – 8th grade)

Christ the Savior Academy is seeking faculty for the 2025-2026 school year to teach

• PK - 8th grade Music (music theory, choral music, music appreciation)

The school's music teacher is on campus 12-14 hours per week and directs two school concerts per year.

This position is part-time, as is, but could potentially be expanded to full-time depending on a candidate’s areas of expertise and availability.  We are also seeking faculty who can cover any of the following subjects.

• 5th - 8th grade mathematics (including Pre-Algebra and Algebra I)
• Middle School Science
• Middle School Greek

As an Orthodox Christian classical school, Christ the Savior Academy is seeking teachers who are centered in the Christian faith and who are (or are willing to become) familiar with a classical, trivium-based pedagogy. We seek teachers who are dedicated to their students' academic excellence and spiritual development and who believe that education is both an intellectual and a moral endeavor. We hold that teachers should inspire students to reach their full intellectual, moral, and aesthetic potential as beings made in the image and likeness of God.

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in music education or Bachelor's degree in another field with experience teaching music and/or directing children's choirs.
