We regret to announce that the MMXX Lone Star Classical Convention has been canceled. Those who have already registered will receive a full refund. This decision was made out of respect for the ban that Austin has placed on large gatherings and out of concern for those among us who may be susceptible to COVID-19. While this cancellation comes as a disappointment, we must remember at this time that our actions as individuals can have far-reaching consequences on those around us. As Christians we are called to “look not only to [our] own interests, but also to the interests of others” (Philippians 2:4). May God’s abundant grace hold you all in health and peace.

The Christian Fellowship for Classical Studies
Presents the MMXX Lone Star
The Christian Fellowship for Classical Studies is a student organization whose purpose is to provide opportunities for strengthening Christian community and fellowship among students to promote the enjoyment of classical language and culture, from ancient to present, as seen through a biblical worldview.
Participation is open to all students of classical education in secondary schools or home school settings. The content of all events is designed to complement the studies of classical schools, with a focus on ancient and Medieval history and literature. Our events are designed to include support for both Greek and Latin studies and will embrace both sacred and secular content.
We invite students of classical secondary schools to a weekend of enjoyment as we explore the theme of AMICITIA with friends new and old from across the Lone Star State. Participants will engage in a number of events both social and competitive that celebrate their common studies in the classical world.

Location: Regents School of Austin
