David Noe

David Noe, is an Associate Professor of Classics at Calvin College. He is interested in all things related to the ancient Mediterranean world, especially Roman philosophy, Greek ethics and religion, and the reception of these ideas in the Reformation and Post-Reformation periods. His current research focuses on these areas, translating theological and philosophical texts from the 16th and 17th centuries, and the continuing development of spoken Latin fluency and pedagogical strategies.

He also enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids, as well as serving the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and playing chess.
