Grace Christian Academy is seeking to fill two full-time vacancies in our grammar school – one for 2nd grade head teacher and the other for 3rd grade head teacher.
Qualifying candidates will have first and foremost a clear testimony of Christian salvation, demonstrate a consistent lifestyle of Christlikeness, be committed to the mission of GCA, and be an active member-in-good-standing in a Bible-believing church.
Candidates will also have a solid understanding of the subject matter they are assigned to teach and a strong ability to effectively translate their understanding into the minds of the students.
All GCA teachers are expected to be committed to the Gospel and to the Classical approach to teaching such that efforts are being made regularly to grow in both areas.
Experience in working with children of this particular age group is preferred. Degrees and certifications will be taken into consideration but are not necessary as they can be manifestations of a progressive worldview that will then need to be retrained. Homeschool experience, especially with classical Christian curriculum is a plus.
