5th and 6th Grade Latin Tutor

Granite is a classical, Christian, homeschool tutorial. The tutors that make up our staff at Granite Classical Tutorials love God, love students, and love their content area. We utilize a distinct, hybrid approach to homeschooling that provides families with a five-day-per-week curriculum that blends structured classes (two days per week) with home assignments (three days per week) for Kindergarten through 12th-grade students.  Our tutors endeavor to teach students how to utilize the time-honored classical tools of learning, using age-appropriate methods of emphasizing grammar, logic, and rhetoric in all subjects that can be modeled in the classroom and then practiced and implemented at home. Granite has been helping Christian families in central Maryland homeschool in the Classical tradition since 2000.  

The Timonium campus of Granite Classical Tutorials is seeking a Latin tutor for our 5th and 6th grade Latin classes. These classes meet on Mondays and Wednesdays. This position may be combined with other opportunites for individuals seeking more teaching hours.
