The Covenant School, an independent Christian Liberal Arts and Sciences school for prekindergarten through grade 12 located in Charlottesville, Virginia, is seeking to fill a full-time position for a Registrar and Testing Coordinator on the Hickory Campus.

Job Summary - The Hickory Campus Registrar and Testing Coordinator is primarily responsible for maintaining all current student, former student, and alumni academic records; assisting the Director of Academic Resources with class scheduling; planning and coordinating student testing; and supporting the faculty and staff in all areas of posting grades, reports, and transcripts. The Hickory Campus Registrar and Testing Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Academic Resources.

Thorough understanding of professional ethics and confidentiality;
Associates degree from an accredited college/university, bachelor's degree preferred;
Prior experience in secondary education administration and/or student record maintenance; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Excellent organizational skills;
Strong information technology skills and an aptitude for problem-solving;
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently;
A track record of follow-through and of consistently meeting deadlines;
Experience with office-based computer software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Drive/Mail/Scheduling; and
Experience with Blackbaud and Naviance is a plus.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Maintain academic files and data for all Upper School students, former students, and alumni; Generate transcripts for all Upper School students, former students, and alumni;
Generate academic reports as needed;
Maintain permanent student records;
Assist in student course registration, creation of annual school class schedule, and class rosters;
Manage student schedule changes;
Assist in the creation of activity and community groups in SIS;
Coordinate senior items and class rings with Jostens;
Preparing diplomas and year-end awards;
Order and maintain faculty and staff academic regalia used at graduation; and Planning/coordinating all internal academic testing for grades 6-12 (PSAT, ERB, AP, etc.).
