Description
Hunter Classical Christian School invites applications for an instructor of music. This position is part-time, focused on general instruction in sacred and secular music, and the coordination of one Christian music-oriented chapel service each week. The music instructor is responsible for direct extracurricular instruction to students in grades K through eight. Additionally, the music instructor will plan and conduct at least two musical productions each year, including the Christmas Service of Lesson and Carols.
The successful candidate must hold a degree from an accredited college or university. He or she must have an affinity for teaching and whole-heartedly embrace Hunter’s Christ-centered, academically focused mission. Finally, the successful candidate must have a strong desire to grow intellectually and spiritually through a commitment to lifelong learning. Preference will be given to teachers with prior experience as classical Christian educators.
