Latin Teacher (Grades 3-12) – School of the Ozarks, a classical Christian model laboratory school of College of the Ozarks, invites applications for a full-time faculty position teaching Latin. Starting date is August 2022 with some required training dates in the summer; rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Masters degree or higher preferred but not required. Primary responsibility would include classroom management and implementing a 3rd-10th-grade Latin curriculum.  The position is considered a College of the Ozarks faculty position, teaching in the laboratory school under the direction of the dean, Mr. Brad Dolloff.

Preference will be given to one who has successfully demonstrated the ability to build proper relationships with and maintain high expectations for students. The candidate should also demonstrate an understanding of classical Christian education, as well as the desire and skill to implement a classical curriculum while maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, and faculty.

The successful candidate must embrace the College and School’s Christ-centered mission and demonstrate excellence in teaching students in elementary grades through 10th grade.
