Logic School Physics and Robotics Teacher, 8th Grade: The Logic School Physics and Robotics Teacher will provide classroom and laboratory instruction in Physics to middle school 8th grade students and lead the extracurricular robotics program using classical methods and a Biblical worldview in order to prepare students with excellence to pursue God’s truth, knowledge and wisdom, and to do so with diligence and perseverance. These teaching duties may be combined with other responsibilities, depending upon education and experience.
Work Schedule: This is an exempt 40-hour per week, academic year position. There is a mandatory faculty meeting once a week during the lunch period. Exceptions are when the school is closed for designated holiday breaks.
Essential Requirements: A disciple of Jesus Christ; full and unreserved supporter of the School’s Statement of Faith; Bachelor’s degree in science, with a concentration in physics; experience in leading and teaching robotics; three years teaching experience, preferably in middle and/or upper school; love for middle school students; mentor comfortable discipling middle school students
Preferred Experience: Five years teaching experience, ideally, in middle school physics; certification in Science/Physics, 6-12; knowledge of and experience with the philosophy of classical Christian education
