The Covenant School is seeking a full-time, experienced Logic School (7th-8th grade) science teacher beginning in the fall of 2019. Candidates should have an understanding of classical Christian educational philosophy, a love for teaching and for students, an appreciation of the Covenant mission, and must personally embrace our statement of faith.  Responsibilities will include teaching Physical and/or Earth science, serving as an mentor, and participating as needed in the co-curricular life of the school.

The ideal candidate will possess most or all of these qualifications:
Ability to teach middle school science courses, with specific expertise in Physical and Earth science.
A post-secondary degree in science or a related field is preferred but not required.
Experience in employing a variety of pedagogical approaches to reach different learning styles with an expertise in the classical style utilizing Socratic dialogue.
Interest in using technology thoughtfully and creatively to enhance teaching and learning
Flexibility and collaborative spirit in working with department members and colleagues across disciplines
