The Covenant School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join the middle school faculty as a 6th Grade Science Teacher for the 2022-23 school year.  Candidates should possess a mature, Christian faith and an educational philosophy that is consistent with The Covenant School’s mission statement and Christian Liberal Arts & Sciences pedagogy. Qualified candidates will have a degree and/or teaching experience in one of the Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, or Engineering, and must be able to help inspire a love of Science in their students.  Candidates must enjoy working with middle school-aged students and demonstrate the ability to inspire students’ love of learning and critical thinking, model and instill the habits of mind necessary for operating a safe Science classroom, pursue professional growth and academic excellence, and desire to share their Christian faith authentically in the context of their teaching.
