Seeking Part-Time Teachers in HAWAII

Saint Benedict Hall is hiring teachers (up to 21 hours a week in the classroom) to teach Middle School and High School Humanities, Bible, Latin, Science, History, and/or Literature.

• SBH is a three-day-a-week classical Christian collaborative education committed to in-person classes. We are a robust resource program for homeschool families giving structure, support, and learning community for our parents and students.
• We are located in beautiful Kailua on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.
• Only working 3 days a week will allow tutors to work another part-time job or continue their education.
• For the 2025-2026 school year, total compensation package for teaching 7 classes (Monday-Wednesday 8am-2:30pm, plus prep time) is $31,330 (plus $3,800 health care stipend). This schedule and salary includes 4 academic classes requiring preparation (Latin, Theology, Literature, and History), and 3 non-academic classes: a gymnasium class, math monitor period, and lunch/recess supervision.
• We are also looking for tutors who can just teach one or two classes per day. Compensation for teaching each 1st-8th Grade class is $4,290 and $4,940 for 9th-12th Grade. Start day August 6, 2025 and first day of classes is August 11th, 2025.
