Financial Leadership In the Small School

SCL Conference 2016

Financial sustainability is one of the most urgent topics on private school agendas today. Most heads of school come to the position without much preparation for the complicated tasks associated with a school's financial health. Financial leadership in a small school can be particularly challenging, because administrative staffs are small, competent financial managers are expensive, and financial plans are often unsophisticated. This workshop provides a roadmap for heads of small schools to increase their financial knowledge, own the financial planning process, communicate to various audiences regarding financial matters, and express the school's strategic priorities in financial terms.
