ABSTRACT:

Perhaps the most important relationship in the school, the Head of School's relationship with the board can be a tricky one. In this workshop, we will discuss principles and practices that can build trust, confidence and effective leadership.

Keith Nix is the Head of School at Veritas School in Richmond, VA. Prior to moving to Veritas in 2010, he served at Westminster School in Birmingham, where he and his family had been involved since the schools early days. He is an ArĂȘte Fellow and serves as the board chair for the Society for Classical Learning. He is married to Kim, who is an artist, and they have three children.
