I'm an artist and jewelry designer, implanted in the Austin area in 2018.
I have worked for the past two years in Austin as a jewelry designer, a natural construction designer, and metal-smith. In 2019 I established my own jewelry business, Beetle Jewel, where I produce original pieces and custom jewelry by request. In addition to my jewelry work, I am a 3-dementional metal sculpture artist. I have two large scale public sculpture commissions on display in upstate New York. In addition, I have skills in water color, acrylic paint, glass blowing, wood working, and computer aided design and drawing.
Previously an adjunct professor at Rochester Institute of Technology, I am passionate about sharing my love of art and design with others. I am continuously entering artwork into exhibitions and shows, across the United States. The most recent exhibition my work was accepted to was the 2020 exhibition ‘Brilliant! Jewelers Making Statements’ in Portland, OR. I have volunteered most of my life at animal shelters and I am currently a volunteer with Austin Animal Center and Austin Wildlife rescue. I am also a current member of Metropolitan Breakfast Club, and Austin Young Chamber.
