Education
My education at George Fox included such classes as the philosophy, methodology, and pedagogy of education. I started out my student teaching in a second grade dual-language classroom at Edwards Elementary and finished in a first grade classroom
Experience
Throughout my time at Ambleside, I catered lessons to multiple students with a variety of learning styles in 1st and 2nd grade. I also performed weekly assessments in phonics and spelling, accuracy and fluency of reading, and math. In October 2018, I performed parent/teacher conferences, in which parents were informed of their child's academic and personal growth. Finally, I administered and graded First Semester Exams. For the remainder of the year, I served in various roles which included supporting student learning and aiding in effective problem solving.
