Woody Faulk shares his wisdom from almost two decades leading a classical Christian school as an engaged parent and as chairman of the board. His professional background at Chick-fil-A provides him with proven best practices that classical Christian school leaders would do well to understand. Mr. William F. “Woody” Faulk is Vice President of Innovation & New Ventures for Chick-fil-A, Inc., a $9B restaurant chain with 2400 locations. Helping Chick-fil-A become an even more innovative and competitive restaurant brand, Mr. Faulk leads a highly capable and creative team of innovation experts and intrapreneurs. Collectively the team focuses on innovating both inside and outside of Chick-fil-A by pursing three strategic pillars: Innovation – accelerating meaningful innovation; Internal Ventures – identifying, testing and introducing new revenue streams for Chick-fil-A; and Future Ventures – acquiring, partnering, or developing new growth platforms and businesses which provide viable and scalable diversification options. Innovation & New Ventures serves as an incubator and accelerator for “What is Next” for Chick-fil-A, Inc., increasing the speed of innovation for Chick-fil-A, Inc., and the Chick-fil-A brand, by offering new investment ventures including, but not limited to, future businesses, platforms, and designs for both domestic and future international growth. Mr. Faulk holds an MBA from Harvard, a BBA from the University of Georgia, and attended Richmond College – London.
