Health Consultant

The Health Consultant is the manager of student health records and advisor to the school on health practices and procedures. The Health Consultant ensures that the school is compliant with all state and local health requirements for students and athletes. 

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Registered Nurse

Experience: 

• Familiarity and experience with medications/forms for severe food allergies and asthma
• Proficient technical skills in Google Suite (Drive, Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and ability to learn quickly student data platforms (FACTS, Magnus Health)
• Experience in school nursing

Work Hours: 

• Approx. 20/Hours per week during 45 operational weeks (August - May) 
• 80% remote, 20% on campus

• Be committed to furthering our school’s Christian mission and philosophy of faith-based education
• Agree to uphold our school’s Statement of Faith
• Be willing to submit to and honor the standards outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or Code of Conduct
• Credible profession of repentance and faith in Jesus Christ
• Godly character (pastoral and other character references may be required)
• Membership or faithful attendance at a local church whose beliefs are consistent with the Nicene Creed
• Excellent communication skills, including wisdom and tact in discussing and explaining potentially sensitive health issues with their parents
• Discretion and faithfulness in honoring the confidentiality of children’s personal health information
