Jackson Hole Classical Academy Seeks a Theatre Teacher

Jackson Hole Classical Academy seeks a teacher who can teach high-school theatre courses and help develop a theatre program for the school. The ideal candidate will be able to teach at least one other subject, such as Latin, Spanish, history, art, or literature.

A successful theatre candidate will have the following prerequisite skills, credentials, and expertise:

• Knowledge of the methods and goals of classical education
• Experience teaching and directing a variety of productions, including Shakespearian plays
• An understanding of the spirit and methods of Christian, classical education and agreement with the school’s mission and vision
• A willingness to be a kind, humble, curious team player at a growing K–12 school

Experience with Charlotte Mason’s approach to habit formation is preferred, but not required.

The curriculum at JH Classical Academy is in the classical liberal arts tradition. Weekend and summer recreation opportunities abound. The attractiveness of Jackson makes housing difficult to find, so the Academy assists in that search.
