Description
Located in the beautiful piney woods of East Texas, Regents Academy is a nationally ranked, fully accredited, classical Christian school (PK-12). Regents is a growing school, with a current student headcount of 160 students and a plan to grow to 275 in the next several years. We are absolutely committed to our classical Christian model of education and looking to recruit scholars who believe in our mission and vision without reservation.
We have a need for a full-time upper school humanities teacher to teach Omnibus II (Christendom II) or IV (Antiquity II) and Writing I and I (7/8) for the 2022-23 academic year. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in a classical Christian school, a passion to see students grow in their knowledge of Christ and in their application of God’s Word, and a commitment to grow as a professional.
Only candidates seriously interested in living in Nacogdoches long-term should apply. Though very rural, Nacogdoches is home to Stephen F. Austin State University and has a productive Chamber of Commerce, providing the city with a healthy diversity, an academically rich environment, lots of small-town traditions and festivities, and opportunities in the arts (for more info, see https://www.visitnacogdoches.org/). Interested applicants should submit a cover letter and resume to the school’s headmaster, Dr. Preston Atwood (prestonatwood@regentsacademy.com).
