I graduated from Texas A&M in 2005 with a B.S. in mathematics and I completed a Th.M. in Historical
Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2010. For the past several years I have taught geometry and
AP Statistics at Regents School of Austin while working part-time on a Ph.D. in Math Education at Texas
State University. In 2012 I was honored as one of five finalists in the state of Texas for the HEB Excellence
in Education Award. In my spare time I run the website www.GodandMath.com which is devoted to the
integration of mathematics and Christian faith. I have been married to my wife Laura for nine years, and we have two children.
