Description
City of Saukville, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin
Start: September 2025 (with optional consulting hours prior to help get you up-to-speed)
Salary: $100,000+ based on experience | Full Benefits
This is more than a job. It’s a calling. A once-in-a-lifetime chance to build a high school from the ground up.
NorthShore Classical Academy is launching a brand-new high school in the northern suburbs of Milwaukee, opening its doors to the inaugural “Founding Fifty Freshmen” in Fall 2026. We are now searching for the right Head of School—a passionate, articulate, and inspiring leader ready to build something extraordinary from day one.
Backed by a dedicated board, generous community support, and the proven Hillsdale College 9-12 Classical Curriculum, NCA offers the rare chance to lead an institution with a clear mission, a blank slate, and momentum already in motion.
Who You Are
You're a leader who believes that education should form both the mind and the soul. You’re someone who:
- Lights up a room—whether it's full of students, teachers, parents, or donors.
- Believes deeply in classical education and the power of great teaching.
- Wants to shape a school’s culture, not just manage its calendar.
- Can walk through an old school building and see its future as a world-class campus.
- Thrives on building—teams, traditions, and trust.
Whether you’re a seasoned school leader, an exceptional teacher ready to step into the leadership “chair”, or a mission-driven professional with the heart and credentials to launch something lasting, this could be the opportunity that changes your career—and a community—forever.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead instruction: Guide academic planning, classroom excellence, and student outcomes.
- Be the face of the school: Conduct enrollment tours, speak to parent groups, lead open houses and special student events, and engage the broader community.
- Shape culture: Build a school where students strive for virtue, rigor, and purpose.
- Manage operations: Oversee planning, facilities, hiring, compliance, and budgeting.
- Honor the mission: Uphold the classical tradition and our commitment to developing character, intellect, and civic responsibility.

- Strong organizational, strategic, and operational instincts.
- A belief that education reform starts with one great school at a time.
Why Now. Why You.
