Physical Education Teacher
Late November Start
Part time- 12-14 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Coventry Christian Schools is seeking a Physical Education Teacher who will primarily work with our Kindergarten and First Grade students in delivering a Christ-centered curriculum of physical fitness, wellness, and growth.
Gymnastic education is an integral part of a classical education, so we are seeking someone who is well-organized, well-rounded, enthusiastic about fitness, and who has the ability to interact joyfully with students, parents, and colleagues. We seek to provide our families and staff with an atmosphere of collaboration and relationship building, so the Physical Education Teacher should exhibit excellence in communication and interpersonal skills, possess basic content knowledge in the discipline, and be willing to implement a diversity of teaching strategies.
Job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

Ability to sign and affirm the school’s statement of faith

Active membership in a Bible-believing Christian Church

Integration of a Christian worldview throughout the curriculum and activities

Demonstrated patience, humility, integrity, and kindness while performing his or her day-to-day duties

Devotion to prayerful work with administration, faculty, students, and parents
