“Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.”
– Proverbs 11:25
In the classical Christian tradition, generosity is not mere duty—it is the natural overflow of God’s love. Jonathan Edwards described God as “the fountain of love, as the sun is the fountain of light.” Like a spring that cannot contain its waters, God’s goodness spills outward, enriching all of creation in sheer abundance.
This same divine overflow calls educators to reflect God’s self-giving nature in their teaching, mentorship, and stewardship. When we give freely of our time, wisdom, and care, we join in His life of generosity—blessing both giver and receiver.
This year’s conference will explore how such generosity can shape classical Christian schools into communities marked by joy, justice, and flourishing. Through the wisdom of the Church and the lives of those who have poured themselves out for others, we will rediscover what it means to lead from abundance.
We invite you to join us at the 2026 SCL Summer Conference to explore how generosity can be cultivated and embodied within classical Christian education. Our plenary speakers will invite us to consider how God’s self-giving nature shapes the heart of education. Whether you’re a teacher, administrator, board member, or simply curious about the beauty of classical Christian education, you’ll find a community eager to learn, grow, and give from the overflow of God’s goodness.
